Common Questions
Who is this program for?
The Body Wisdom System is designed for active adults aged 50 and above who want to build strength, improve their nutrition, manage stress, and age well. You don't need prior fitness experience — the Foundation program starts from the beginning and meets you where you are.
Do I need a gym or special equipment?
No gym is required. The programs are designed to be done at home with minimal equipment — a set of resistance bands or light dumbbells is helpful but not required for the beginner level.
How does the carb cycling approach work?
Carb cycling involves alternating between higher-carb days (typically your training days) and lower-carb days (typically your rest days). This approach allows you to fuel your workouts effectively while also encouraging fat burning on your off days. The program includes a complete guide explaining how to structure your days and what to eat on each.
What's the difference between Muscle Matters and Metabolism Mastery
Muscle Matters (Course 1) is the beginner foundation — a 12-week bodyweight-only program with no gym required. It establishes the fundamentals of fitness and nutrition. Metabolism Mastery (Course 2) introduces free weights, advanced body recomposition, and the Motion Meditation mindfulness program. It's ideal for those who have completed Course 1 or already have a baseline of fitness.
How do I access the programs after purchasing?
After purchase, you'll receive an email with instant access to all program materials. Everything is downloadable, so you can access it offline and at your own pace — no app installation needed.
Can I upgrade from Foundation to Recomposition later?
Yes. If you start with the Foundation program and want to upgrade later, contact Ruth directly and she'll arrange an upgrade at a discounted rate.
